To the memory of Rumiana Boginova

It was an evening in February, and like every friday we were in our office for the study of the repertoire. The Maestro was concerting a renaissance motet, when made her income a high woman, with a lengthened ace, and red curly hair, enthusiastic to listen to the music that she loved. Few weeks later that woman, Rumiana Boginova, sang her first concert with our choir, with her beautiful alto voice. Not even two months after, Rumi returned for some weeks in her country, Romania: nobody could imagine what it would happen.

On friday September 8,2006, a crowd killed her by gun.

This is a letter of the son Ivan toa Rumiana's friend:

"Hi Joseph, I'm son of Rumiana. She said beautiful things about you, and I think you were one important person in its life. She has been be killed by gun.
The killer has been arrested, and now is in prison. He's a mad. Approximately four years ago she tried to help him - he was a member of the evangelic church, and she was like his mother for him. But when he asked “more” - he wanted to be her lover - she has rejected him. Perhaps he has voted his life to her. He spied her, many times… after the crime, he called the police telling all: “I have made one madness…” IT'S A FOLLY! I loved my mother very much, and now I am very sad. I have seen her in dream the same night: I and she walked together, and I was looking for the killer. But she was not angry, she has spoken to me kindly, and I calmed myself. Yesterday we have buried her in Samokov. Joseph, I know that we say that God he's a God of life and not a God of death. My mother loved God very much, and she'll be happy in His Light. She received the last Sacrament approximately one week before her death. I pray for she. I know that positive thoughts and the prayers are important for her. Pray for her, as friend, as man, as how of positive you were in her life. With respect. Ivan "
